Dr. Moore is a Counseling/Clinical Psychologist with an office in Longview, Texas for over 15 years. Dr. Moore is a Texas licensed psychologist with the additional designation, Health Service Provider and Licensed School Specialist. He is a member of The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and certified in substance abuse diagnosis and treatment by the College of Professional Psychology, and a past member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Moore is a member of the Texas and American Psychological Associations and has a certificate of professional qualification in psychology from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards.
Dr. Moore operates the Center for Professional Counseling and Psychological Services in East Texas. Dr. Moore and his staff treat a wide range of mental health difficulties including: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), School Problems, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Grief & Divorce Recovery, Panic Disorder, Parenting Skills, Phobias, Sexual Issues, and Issues with Step-Families. He works with a full range of clients, from children through older adults. This office provides psychological evaluations for a variety of purposes such as learning disability, pre-operative suitability, law enforcement, career counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and residential placement.

Dr. Moore earned a Bachelor' Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and a Master's of Science degree in psychology from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Thru the North Texas Federation of Universities (Texas A&M University, East Texas) he earned a Ph.D. in psychology in 1977.
Dr. Moore is a member of the Texas Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. Each year both associations as well as the College of Professional Psychology require ongoing continuing education in order to stay abreast of this exciting and ever changing field. Dr. Moore takes particular interest in children's assessments and treatments, substance abuse, emdr, marriage/family therapy, and modern treatments for depression and anxiety disorders. Treatment orientation is primarily behavioral, cognitive behavioral and eclectic.
