Profession Title: I am a Licensed Psychologist in private practice in Austin, Texas. I have been practicing as a clinical psychologist for over 30 years and have experience working with people from many different backgrounds and having a wide range of concerns.
Define Specialty(s): In the specialty area of chemical dependency, I work with persons who themselves have or who are affected by someone else's problems with alcohol or drugs. Another specialty area, loss and grief, includes dealing with the effects of a death, divorce or break-up of a relationship, losses involved in geographic moves and other major life changes and transitions.
In addition, I have extensive experience working with Anxiety Disorders (including Panic Disorder, Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety), Depression, Codependency, Couple and Family Relationship problems, Geriatrics/Aging, Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse, and Women's Issues.
